General manager required for a food focused establishment with rooms in the Lake district, this Restaurant with rooms is of a good standard, you will run this small team to ensure the rooms are of the required level, the restaurant service runs smoothly and the operation as a whole runs smoothly. General Manager upto £40k basic. The role As a General manager, you will ensure every part of the Hotel / Restaurant with rooms runs smoothly. You will ensure the housekeeper has the rooms ready for check in, that the check outs go smooth, the breakfast operation and the lunch/evening restauirant service runs smoothly. This is a restaurant with rooms and the room standards are good. This role is hands on and includes all the standard General manager duties. Experience We are looking for a general manager from a food background with a good understanding of the room side as well. You might be a deputy general manager or operations manager ready to step into a GM role or a current General Manager.
