Experienced Financial Fund Controller – Redevco – one of Europe’s largest privately-owned real estate investment firms

As Redevco embarks on an exciting new chapter with growing its number of client mandates with a pan-European scope, the company is seeking an experienced Financial Fund Controller to provide expert financial oversight and drive operational excellence during this critical phase of growth. Core focus position: Managing the fund's activities and track performance; quarterly reporting, incl. annual audits & regulatory compliance Forecasting new assets and liquidity. Maintaining fund models and coordinate capital calls and distributions Projects: supporting the transaction management team on ad hoc financial request Stakeholdermanagement: Group Controller, Investment Director and Team, Lenders, Investors and third-party administrators and service providers As the Financial Fund Controller, you will play a key role in driving the financial success and operational efficiency of a newly established mandate, which will effectively be a fund, combining strategic oversight with hands-on financial leadership. Reporting directly to the Group Controller and working closely with diverse stakeholders including Head of Investment Management, Investment Directors and the Head of Global Client Group. you will significantly shape the fund's financial trajectory. You will oversee the fund's financial integrity byensuring fund financial acumen, ensuring compliance with regulations and fund limitations, and leading the annual audit process. Additionally, you will manage relationships with third-party administrators while actively overseeing and preparing quarterly financial statements, investor reports, and capital statements, as well as handling capital calls and distributions. You will also maintain robust financial fund models, liquidity forecasts, and calculate fees and performance metrics. Beyond these responsibilities, you will support fundraising efforts, and collaborate with the Investment team on critical deals.Your role will be essential in aligning investment structures with tax and legal recommendations, ensuring financial transparency and integrity across the fund. You are an ambitious and experienced Fund Controller within the Real Estate sector, with exceptional financial acumen and a proven ability to hit the ground running. Your proactive approach to managing complex financial operations is complemented by your strong project management and financial reporting skills which enabling you to drive efficiency and ensure compliance across all financial processes. Additionally, your strong stakeholder management skills allow you to build and maintain effective relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. Our teams are fully equipped to provide the full spectrum of capabilities in house, such as transactions, fund management, risk & compliance, and asset & development management”. Master’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field; a post-master RA (Certified Public Accountant) or RC (Chartered Controller) is preferred. 6–8 years of experience in Fund Control or Financial Controller roles within the Real Estate sector, Proven track record in supporting individual and portfolio real estate transactions. Experience with creating and supporting pan-European regulated alternative investment funds. Experience and knowledge of different types of fund structures is a plus Advanced knowledge of IFRS, multiple GAAPs, and INREV guidelines. Experience with outsourced Fund Administration models and managing external Fund Administrators and third parties (including Auditors, AIFM). Knowledge of fund management and reporting software (e.g., eFront, Cognos, Power BI, CODA, and Onestream); MSCI reporting experience is a plus.
