For the two properties NH Schiller and NH Caransa, we are looking for an ambitious leader with vibrant personality and a genuine approach. The Food & Beverage (F&B) operations of the hotels (and your responsibility) include the breakfast restaurants in both hotels, serving of up to 200 covers, room service, and 3 meeting rooms. As a part of this project, you will be spear-heading an opening of the Café Kuyl for lunch, dinner, and the bar, including the concept development, menu creation, recruitment, and much more. The F&B team is small but mighty. You will be responsible for both service and kitchen teams with total of 15 colleagues. In the service team, you will work with 2 F&B Supervisors and in the kitchen team you will be working closely with the Sous Chef. What do we offer? Then this is the perfect next step for you In this hands-on F&B role, you will be responsible for the daily operations (70%) as well as for the strategy and growth plans of the Food & Beverage department (30%). As Food and Beverage Manager you evaluate and encourage your team to get the most out of themselves and to keep developing themselves. You identify and communicate bottlenecks and help to solve them. You also monitor the implementation of internal procedures and legislation, for example in the field of budget & planning and HACCP. Finally, you maintain a close relationship with the guests and, if necessary, you are the first point of contact for compliments and complaints. What are we looking for? You have a proven track of delivering the balance between commercial results, great guest experience, and developing your teams You have at least 2 years of experience in leading a large team in a restaurant or high-level hotel and you cannot wait to take control of your own Food & Beverage department You are a mature people person, humble, but equally ambitious and driven to get the job done through developing your team; You can speak, read, write in English and Dutch at an advanced level.
