Job Description Job Description Technical Publications Support Remote - Full Time Productive Resources(www.productiveresources.com)is seeking acandidateto be part of our engineering team at our customer's facility in Waukesha, WI. As a member of our team, the selected candidate will be a skilled and motivated Technical Publications Support Specialist in Waukesha, Wisconsin. The role will primarily be off-site, but the successful candidate will need to be on-site for two weeks at the start of the contract to learn the systems and processes. The position focuses on supporting the creation and maintenance of technical documentation, including product manuals, engineering documents, and service instructions, with a strong emphasis on utilizing Creo and AutoCAD software. Duties: Provide technical publications support for creating, maintaining, and updating product manuals, service instructions, engineering documentation, and other technical materials. Work with cross-functional teams to gather necessary information for the development of technical documentation. Utilize Creo and AutoCAD to interpret and extract technical drawings, schematics, and design data for inclusion in documentation. Ensure technical documents are clear, accurate, and meet quality and compliance standards. Collaborate with engineering, product development, and service teams to ensure the proper technical content is included in publications. Format and organize documents to meet companys standards and specifications. Assist with the review and approval process for technical publications. Maintain version control and document management for technical publications to ensure the latest revisions are properly documented and distributed. Requirements: Proficiency with Creo and AutoCAD software. Strong experience in technical writing or technical publications, particularly in a manufacturing or engineering environment. Excellent attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and clarity in technical documentation. Familiarity with product manuals, service documentation, and engineering drawings. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks while meeting deadlines. Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems and processes. Preferred: Experience in creating technical publications for the manufacturing or power generation industry. Previous experience with document management systems or publication tools is a plus. Experience with mechanical systems or engine components is desirable.
