Job description Job Opportunity: Site Technical Manager FMCG Location: Crewkerne Salary: Up to £65,000 Bonus Scheme Benefits: 25 days holiday bank holidays, company pension, flexible working hours, career development opportunities We are seeking an experienced Site Technical Manager to lead the food safety, compliance, and quality assurance strategy at a dynamic food manufacturing site. This is a senior leadership role, working cross-functionally to drive continuous improvement and ensure all products meet regulatory, customer, and company standards . Key Responsibilities: Oversee food safety, compliance, and product quality across all site operations. Manage and develop a team of 12 , ensuring they are trained and aligned with HACCP and BRC accreditation standards . Lead external audits and customer visits , ensuring regulatory and customer expectations are met. Implement and manage food safety risk assessments and compliance monitoring systems. Drive a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence within the business. Partner with production and engineering teams to optimize site efficiency and maintain compliance. Investigate Significant Incident Reports and implement corrective actions. Requirements: Minimum 5 years' experience in a senior technical role within food manufacturing or FMCG . Strong knowledge of BRC accreditation, HACCP, and quality system management . Degree or equivalent qualification in Food Science, Engineering, or related field . Recognized audit qualification and Level 4 Food Safety & HACCP . Excellent communication and leadership skills to drive engagement and technical development. Desirable: Experience with dairy science, batch cook processes, CiP systems, or UF plants . Why Join Us?
