Leasing Manager

Wereldhave Belgium is looking for … an experienced Leasing Manager with strong commercial flair, a customer-centric mindset and a sharp eye for opportunity. You have a proven background in retail real estate and thrive in environments where negotiation, relationship-building and delivering tangible results are key. You are proactive, take ownership, and continuously strive for improvement. You will strengthen the leasing team and report directly to the Chief Commercial Officer . Together, we turn our commercial strategy into measurable success. You will joining a publicly listed real estate investor and manager of shopping centres, retail parks and offices . Our focus lies in transforming these sites into Full Service Centres – all-in-one destinations that meet daily needs such as shopping, leisure, health, work and more, supported by innovative concepts and digital services. Wereldhave Belgium is active in strategic locations including Brussels, Antwerp, Nivelles, Liège, Kortrijk, Tournai, Genk, Bruges, Turnhout and Waterloo. We are also present in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, with shopping centres in Schmiede and Pommerloch. How will you impact our organization? You will play a key role in the delivery of our retail and real estate strategy. With your market insight, customer focus and entrepreneurial mindset, you will help create a sustainable tenant mix, maintain high occupancy rates and build strong, long-term relationships with our retail partners. Your responsibilities as Leasing Manager will include: Strategy & Market Insight - Contribute to the development of our leasing strategy and translate market insights and masterplans into concrete actions. - Maintain strong relationships with key accounts and share market and customer analyses with the team. Commercial Management - Negotiate with (inter)national retailers and contribute to a well-balanced tenant and category mix. - Support project evaluations and provide input on key decisions such as rent levels and feasibility studies. Operational Excellence - Ensure accurate and timely administrative follow-up of leasing files and liaise with Finance on payment tracking. - Drive process improvements and represent WHB at events and in dealings with brokers and prospects. Collaboration & Team Spirit - Work closely with fellow Leasing Managers and act as a go-to person for complex cases. - Foster knowledge sharing and contribute to a positive and open team environment, without formal coaching responsibilities.
