Corporate Counsel

Job Description Job Description LOD Consilio is seeking a Corporate Counsel who has 5 years of experience. Our client, a large agribusiness company, is hiring an attorney on a part-time, long-term basis (20 hours a week for 6 months, possibly longer). In this role, the attorney will work on a variety of commercial contracting and employment tasks, including general liability & litigation management, general employment advice & counsel, and day-to-day preparation and drafting of contracts related to various customer, vendor, trade, commercial, and financial matters. The ideal candidate would have in-house experience and the ability to commute to the company's Long Beach office and work on a hybrid basis. Qualifications: Admitted and actively licensed in any U.S. jurisdiction 5 years of in-house and/or law firm experience Ability to commute to the company's Long Beach office (hybrid work arrangement) Negotiate and draft agreements to ensure compliance and protection of commercial rights. General employment advice and counsel. LOD Consilio offers flexible talent placement rates depending upon experience level and specific skills requested by the client, candidate’s general skill set, applicability of candidate skill set to client need, client budget, number of hours requested, and other factors. A specific rate of pay for a project will be discussed with you if it is determined that you are a potential fit for a role. The typical range of pay is $100 to $110 hourly for this type of work.
