Job Description Job Description Job Title: Project Engineer (Commercial Construction) Location: [El Centro CA] Job Type: [Full-time] Reports To: Project Manager Job Summary: The Project Engineer will assist in planning, coordinating, and executing construction projects from start to finish. This role involves supporting the Project Manager in managing technical aspects, ensuring compliance with design specifications, and maintaining project schedules and budgets. Responsibilities: Collaborate with Project Manager and site teams to plan project phases. Review project drawings, specifications, and contracts to ensure technical accuracy. Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants. Assist in preparing project budgets, schedules, and reports. Monitor project progress, identify issues, and propose solutions. Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and project requirements. Conduct site visits and inspections to verify work meets design standards. Manage project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, and change orders. Communicate project updates to stakeholders. Support procurement activities and material deliveries. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field. years of experience in construction project management or engineering. Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations. Proficiency in project management software (Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, etc.). Strong problem-solving and communication skills. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications. Preferred Qualifications: Professional Engineer (PE) license or EIT certification( Preferred Not Requiredb>) OSHA certification.( Required ) Experience with Hotel Construction or extensive apartment project experience ( Requiredb>)
