Job Responsibilities and Roles As a Commercial Plumber for Choate's, your primary responsibility will be to perform service and install work in the field for commercial customers. You will work under the direction of the Commercial Manager and Plumbing Managers. Required Qualifications Journeyman's License Five (5) years of commercial plumbing experience Elite organizational and communication skills Ability to multitask Must have strong technical skills Must have computer skills Must have basic hand tools High school diploma or GED Valid and clean driver’s license Clean background Preferred Qualifications Master Plumber's License Ten (10) years of commercial plumbing experience Leak detection experience Backflow Certification HVAC knowledge Service Titan experience Tankless water heater experience Boiler experience Essential Abilities Ability to operate commercial sewer machine Ability to operate commercial sink machine Ability to operate Pro Press, Mega Press and Pex Ability to operate sewer camera and identify areas of concern Ability to perform complete sewer replacement, jetter operation and lift stations Ability to operate a multimeter Estimating Job Functions As a Commercial Plumber for Choate's, it is imperative that the candidate understand processes, including, but not limited to, third party vendor compliance. A candidate must be able to effectively communicate with management, technicians, customers and third party vendors via telephone, electronic communication and face to face communications. A candidate will be expected to uphold all of the Company's policies and procedures. A candidate must participate in meetings and be willing and able to lead if necessary. A candidate will be expected to monitor and control inventory and truck stock. A candidate will be expected to meet certain key performance indicators (KPIs). A candidate must update customer/vendor files on all required platforms, keep appointments and perform any other duties assigned. Special Requirements Must be able to see and read information in written form. Must be able to stand for extended periods of time, climb ladders, get in and out of vehicles, squat, bend, lift up to 75 pounds unassisted, read computer screens and type.
