Gastroenterology Physician

Type of practice: o Multi-specialty (23 different specialties), outpatient, physician owned facility. Our main campus is in Fort Walton Beach and we also have satellite offices in Destin, Niceville, Navarre, and Crestview. • Type of employment: o First 2 years, associate contract position. Immediately following the 2-year Associate contract, there is the option to be voted in as a Shareholder. • Number of physicians: o 46 doctors, 34 Allied Health Professionals (PA or ARNP) o Gastroenterology Department: 2 doctors, 1 Allied Health Professional • Requirements: o US Resident or Green Card o Board Certified or Board Eligible (will be required to take the test after completing residency/fellowship) • Compensation: o As an associate, the contract includes a base salary with a wRVU production model, which is based on a specific dollar amount per work RVU produced. • Benefits: o Competitive salary according to AMGA with bonuses based on quality and performance o Medical, dental and vision o 401K with employer match after one year o $2500 CME Stipend o Relocation assistance o Paid time off: 20 business days of PTO, Clinic closed 6 holidays, 5 CME Days, Total per year: 31 days/year • Type of EMR: Greenway (Athena as of summer 2020) • Typical Schedule is: o Monday Friday, 8 am to 5 pm • Average 18 • Procedures / Services: o Colonoscopy o EGD o Flexible Sigmoidoscopy o PEG Tubes Fort Walton Beach, Florida • Practice Parameters: o No patients under 18 years old o Do not perform hemorrhoid surgery o ERCP o EUS o No Gastric Bypass o No Capsule Endoscopies o Will evaluate gallbladder, but will not remove Other important information: o We are a Patient Centered Medical Home (PCMH) NCQA certified practice o In practice for over 70 years, strong presence in the community as the area s largest physician owned, multi-specialty, outpatient clinic o All of our locations are within 10-20 miles from our main campus in Fort Walton Beach. o Onsite imaging and laboratory o Mid-sized community, large military population, popular vacation destination with beautiful beaches and a coastal lifestyle o Located within a short road trip away from many southeast metropolitan areas.
