About the clinician's workday The position offers 34 MD hours and 30 APP hours, with both day and night shifts available, supporting an annual volume of 37,000 cases. Board-certified or board-eligible physicians in Emergency Medicine (EM), Family Medicine (FM), or Internal Medicine (IM) are accepted. MD shifts are from 7 AM to 7 PM, 1 PM to 11 PM, and 7 PM to 7 AM. Candidates with FM or IM backgrounds must have at least 3 years of Emergency Department (ED) experience and hold ACLS, ATLS, BLS, and PALS certifications. The facility is a Level III trauma center, and the EMR system used is Meditech.
