Assistant Controller

About the Company and this Opportunity: Successful growth Oriented Company with an innovative and fun culture This person will be the right hand to the Controller and have 1 direct report being involved in initiatives and processes and procedures for the department The company focuses on creative food options and is passionate about their mission Turn-over is low, many have been with the company for 10 years Benefits including fully paid healthcare benefits, 401K with match, generous vacation, bonus potential and a freshly cooked lunch every day Job duties of the Assistant Controller Role: Supervise one direct report and support broader accounting team development. • Oversee accounting and financial reporting; Manage cash flow forecasting • Coordinate period closes and reconciliations across all subsidiaries. • Perform and coordinate annual outside reviews and audits for subsidiary financial statements. • Lead efforts in migrating accounting systems Provide light financial analysis to support decision-making. • Support and help lead the annual budget process. • Participate in ad hoc projects and assignments as needed. Qualifications preferred for the Assistant Controller Role: Minimum 8 years of experience with at least 3 managing or supervising a team Experience in the manufacturing industry; food manufacturing is a plus Experience with a software implementation Bachelor's in accounting; CPA is a plus LI-JM1 INAPR2025
