Senior Accountant About the Company Operating for 100 years in the entertainment & hospitality space, looking to transition to a real estate development organization Own properties in 5 states, 60 locations, and is considered one longest standing companies in its industry This role will be in office full time but in the heart of Times Square Working closely with the CFO and Controller - they are a very hands on Accounting and Finance group that just implemented Yardi Great benefits such as Bonus, Health, dental, vision, and PTO Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant Internal and external financial reporting, management of expenses, revenue, billing, collections, payables, and payroll Assisting with month end close activities Bank reconciliations Handling invoices for all commercial properties Working with the controller on any adhoc projects Qualifications of the Accountant 3 years of relevant accounting experience working in the real estate industry Experience with Yardi, MRI or a similar system Soft skills: it's a very family friendly office and there are about 6 people that work in office full time. Someone who is not shy and flexible would do great with this team Many have tenured up to 20 years with the firm
