TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified OR RN in Springfield, Missouri, 65804 Pay Information $2,106 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Job Specialty: Operating Room (OR) Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days, 4x10, 06:30-17:00 Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum of 2 years in Level 1 or Level 2 Trauma OR, with scrub and circulator experience License: Current RN License eligible for licensure in the state of Missouri or currently licensed in the state of Missouri Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association (AHA) Must-Have: - 2 years Level 1 or Level 2 Trauma Experience - Teaching hospital experience - Interventional Vascular experience of at least 1 year - Competency in conscious sedation Job Description: - Assist with Vascular Surgeon in OR and Hybrid Imaging suite - Work with a team of nurses and surgical techs for Endo and Open cases - Utilize the nursing process to provide patient care - Maintain professional accountability for the provision of patient care - Evaluate the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct caregivers - Coordinate patient care in conjunction with other departments - Maintain patient rights and confidentiality of patient information - Perform duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with mission, values, and service standards - Perform direct patient care activities for all age groups, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation - Monitor and coordinate patient care activities with ancillary departments to optimize patient care and comfort - Function within the scope of nursing preparation and consistent with the established guidelines of nursing practice, the Missouri Nurse Practice Act, and the Code of Conduct - Demonstrate skill in human relations and communications - Stand and walk most of the time on duty, lift and push patients on stretchers and in wheelchairs - Work in a clean, air-conditioned area with specified physical demands Please note that attire must be professional, and scrub color will be black.
