Massage Therapist/Chiropractic Assistant

Job Description Job Description 911 BioCare is a private wellness/anti-aging clinic located in Redlands, CA. We are currently looking for one licensed Massage Therapist to work alongside our Chiropractor on Tuesdays and Thursdays 9AM-4:30PM. Requirements: MUST HAVE AN ACTIVE MASSAGE LICENSE IN THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA Responsibilities Perform Massage Therapy, muscle manipulation, and soft tissue therapy of the body to provide treatment for medical conditions, injuries, muscular Inconsistencies, or wellness maintenance Prepare a clean and sanitized massage treatment room for the day and per guest Clean tools, room, bed, sheets and instruments Ensure the facility and massage tools are kept sterile and clean Administer massage therapy treatments to guests using hands or physical treatment aids and tools Confer with clients about their medical histories and problems with stress or pain to determine how massage will be most helpful Interview patients to gather medical information and provide a customized massage therapy session Develop and propose client treatment plans that specify which types of massage are to be used that are best for the individual guest Assist front desk associates when needed with various facility tasks Provide clients with guidance and information about techniques for bodywork improvement and stretching, relaxation, and rehabilitative exercises End-of-Shift Duties: Before you leave for the day, including if you flex home early, please: • Dispose of trash by taking it to the designated dumpster. • Mop the massage room using a swiffer or approved cleaning supplies.
