Excellent customer service and patient experience skills. Description: Join a regional medical center with a level III trauma center and state-of-the-art operating suites. Provides healthcare services including medical, surgical, rehabilitation, childbirth, cancer care, nephrology, pediatrics, inpatient behavioral health, day surgery, and extensive imaging and lab testing services. Responsibilities include providing care in the surgical inpatient unit handling a variety of med/surg patients. Potential to float to sister units such as Medical, Nephrology, Inpatient Rehab, Cardiology (for lower acuity patients), or Pediatrics (to care for adult patients). The unit is a 24-bed setting with typical patient ratios of 1:6. Utilizes equipment like IV pumps and vital sign monitors within an EHR system. Candidates are expected to integrate into a team-focused environment, adhering to institutional policies and guidelines.
