Were on the hunt for a Head Chef to lead the kitchen at Wylam Brewery, located in Newcastle's City Centre in Exhibition Park. We are looking for a passionate and creative culinary professional to take the reins of our dynamic food offering. Whats the gig? As Head Chef, youll be the creative force behind our varied food offerings. Youll lead a passionate kitchen team, work closely with front of house and management, and make sure every plate that leaves your passe tells a story. Lead and inspire the kitchen team to consistently deliver outstanding food Design and develop innovative, seasonal menus with a modern British influence Manage food preparation for weddings, private events, and weekly services Ensure compliance with all health & safety and food hygiene regulations Oversee stock control, ordering, and kitchen rotas / budgets Foster a positive, efficient, and collaborative working environment About You Proven experience as Head Chef in a high-quality, high-volume setting Strong background in modern British cuisine and large-scale event catering A creative and forward-thinking approach to menu design Exceptional leadership and organisational skills Passion for local, seasonal ingredients and delivering memorable guest experiences What We Offer Company Discount Card Enjoy generous staff discounts across food and drink at Wylam Brewery and our associated venues. This is a full time position with an immediate start, with a contract for 45 hours and paid additional overtime.
