TravelNurseSource is working with Malone Healthcare to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Pikeville, Kentucky, 41501 About The Position Job Details: (1) MS/Tele RN (Surgical/Ortho Unit) - 12 HR NIGHTS - Pikeville Medical Center - Pikeville, KY 75 mile radius rule • Contract Length: 8 weeks • Start Date: ASAP • Guaranteed Hours Per Week: 48 HRs requirement - will not accept 36 • Primary Location: Pikeville Medical Center Pikeville, KY • Shift Requirements: 12 HR Nights blocked schedule requests will only be accommodated for weekend rotation • Float Requirements: Med Surg/Tele units will float throughout all in-patient areas. May be tasked as an aide if other units need assistance. • On Call/Call Back Requirements: N/A • Weekend/Holiday Requirements: every other weekend/holiday required unless given time off approval • Required Certifications to be Attached upon Submittal: KY/Compact RN License. AHA BLS, AHA ACLS & NIHSS required. EKG test required for all RN's, to be completed during the compliance process. • Minimum Experience: 1 year as RN in specialty. MUST have Level I or Level II Trauma experience. • Charting Experience Required: Care View/EPIC (effective June 1) preferred, will train on-site • Required Skillset: General Med/Tele. Must be able to read/interpret tele strips • Unit Information (Bed size, beds, Patient ratio): 340 bed Level II Trauma Center. Patient ratio: 1:6. Beds: 15-45 beds depending on which unit you are on. • Hard worker, Resilient and Manages Change well, Social candidates, reliable, team-player • Scrub Colors: black • COVID Vaccine Requirements: Covid Vaccine required unless medical/religious declination is applicable. If declination is accepted, weekly testing is required at the traveler/agency expense & verification. • GSA hours are not guaranteed the week of Orientation.
