Job Description Job Description We are seeking a Machine Operator to join our team A Machine Operator is responsible for the set-up, operation, and maintenance of printing, die cutting, and/or finishing production equipment. Responsibilities: Ensure the machine has been set up correctly and in the allotted time. Monitor machine operations to detect malfunctions. Review and follow the job ticket; follow instructions accurately. Perform all assigned work effectively and on schedule. Verify finished product matches the supplied sample; ensure product conforms to quality standards. Perform routine adjustments during each job; maintain production throughout the run. Perform troubleshooting and preventive maintenance tasks as needed. Maintain make-ready and run standards while producing quality products. Record production information such as amount of time spent on specific tasks. Oversee the crew working on the machine; keep work area neat and clean. Follow all standard operating procedures relevant to the job, position and department. Train co-workers to set up, operate, and use equipment as directed.
