Job Description Job Description Title: Accounts Payable Clerk Location: West Palm Beach Pay: $24 to $27 per hour Type: Contract to Hire We are seeking a Payroll Clerk for the automotive industry located in West Palm Beach. This is a contract-to-hire position, offering competitive pay between $24 to $27 per hour. The ideal candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and will be responsible for compiling and maintaining verified accounts payable records, reconciling statements, and issuing payments to vendors. Key Responsibilities: - Check all vouchers and obtain appropriate payment approval - Prepare accounts payable checks - Post all open items in accounts payable daily - Print all accounts payable reports and maintain all accounts payable files - Reconcile statements and the ledger to ensure payments are consistent with dealership schedules - Communicate cash requirements for payable dates to the office manager - Audit freight bills against freight inquiries - Analyze vendor accounts - Provide title clerk with information on all purchased vehicles for title list - Answer all vendor inquiries - Reconcile bank balances on a daily basis - Reconcile time cards, prepare worksheets for the office manager, and post payroll weekly - Post flat rate flag sheets weekly - Assist in monthly closings - Prepare account analysis as required - Assist with accounts receivable and special projects as necessary - Perform other duties or projects as assigned by management Pay Details: $24.00 to $27.00 per hour Search managed by: Kimberly Kans Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
