Trade Supervisor (2 posts) Location: This post is based at Link’s Falkirk office. However, hybrid working is available with this role. Hours of work: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday Salary: £43,372.00 to £54,215.00 per annum (dependent on skills and experience) Alternative working patterns and/or working arrangements will be considered. The Trade Supervisor will support the Planned Maintenance Delivery Manger to deliver, lead and manage a high-quality Planned Maintenance service to Link’s tenants and other customers across the Link Group portfolio. The Trade Supervisor will also support the delivery of other contracts and/or projects as required. The post holder will be responsible for the daily line management of a team of trade operatives and will monitor ongoing works to ensure work is satisfactory and undertaken in line with statutory requirements, regulatory and technical standards, customer expectations and organisational procedures. The role involves assisting with the delivery of a customer focussed service, ensuring that Link and other subsidiary Housing associations properties are maintained to the required standard and to the satisfaction of our tenants and other customers. About You Qualified to HNC level in Building/Technical/Construction or a related subject, or with a Trade Qualification, you will have demonstrable experience of effectively line managing operatives within a responsive maintenance environment. The successful candidate will have experience of delivering a customer-focused service as well as managing resources within budget. Extensive knowledge and awareness of relevant health and safety requirements and an understanding of legislation and how both impact work and customer requirements is required for this role.
