Assistant Restaurant Manager

Located near Tower Bridge, Smith's of Wapping has become well known as one of London's best seafood restaurants and are now recruiting for an Assistant Restaurant Manager to join its established team and assist with co-ordinating all front of house operations; As Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will support the Restaurant Manager in leading and developing a top performing team within an exceptional dining environment. You will assist the Restaurant Manager in managing the planning, organisation and supervision of the restaurant. As Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will be a talented individual with proven experience within a high-volume similar restaurant environment in a team leader role where quality food, wine and ingredients are key priorities. An excellent and confident communicator, you will take a hands-on approach to your role and your team, with a focus on training and developing colleagues. Previous experience within a similar environment is highly desirable for this role. The ideal candidates for this positions will have: Previous experience in a similar role in a high-end brand. Strong people management skills and experience with managing a team. Ability to build strong relationships at all levels and with guests. Excellent communication skills. Ability to motivate and drive the team Must be friendly, attentive and eye for detail. A passion for hospitality and customer service. Must have high level of both spoken and written English. Ability to work under pressure.
