Restaurant Host/Hostess, Reservations, FOH 'live in' available

My client, an award-winning 16th-century gastropub located near the historic market town of Woodbridge in Suffolk, is looking for a friendly, organised, and proactive individual to take the lead on reservations and guest hosting. This hybrid role combines front-of-house hospitality with back-of-house administration. Responsibilities include responding to enquiries and emails, managing bookings, coordinating with the kitchen and general clerical duties. Youll be on-site in the mornings to handle emails, take new reservations, return phone messages, and prepare for service. During service, youll help with guest arrivals, provide a warm welcome, offer menus and refreshments, and lend a hand where needed on the floor. The role also involves time on your laptop managing the reservation system and completing admin tasks. This position goes beyond typical front-of-house duties ideal for someone who enjoys variety and is confident both in guest-facing and organisational tasks. 40 hours a week £25,000 For candidates relocating for this role, basic live-in accommodation is available that will provide a convenient short-term option to help you settle in.
