Travel Nurse RN - Med/Surg - $1,724 per week in Nacogdoches, TX

Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Job Specialty: Medical/Surgical Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift, 12 hours Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Experience: 2 years required for applicable orders License: Current RN License Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) Must-Have: Previous travel experience, Cerner experience Job Description: - Work in a dynamic environment with a facility equipped with 155 total beds and a Level IV trauma center. - Provide care for common diagnoses and treatments such as CHF, pneumonia, sepsis, cardiac issues, ESRD, postoperative bariatrics, orthopedic procedures, ENT, and general surgery patients. - Manage a nurse-to-patient ratio of 5:1 during the day and 6:1 at night. - Chart patient information using Cerner software. - Wear navy blue scrubs while on duty. - Float to areas such as ICU and Women's Center as needed and within the skillset. - Work every other weekend as part of the weekend requirement. - Collaborate with a dedicated team to provide quality patient care. - Enjoy proximity to recreational facilities and other nearby cities for leisure activities.
