Sr. Financial Analyst

Job Description Job Description We are in search of a Sr. Financial Analyst to become a part of our team. Based in Virginia Beach, Virginia, this role calls for someone with strong financial modeling skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and excellent people management abilities. Responsibilities: • Accurately maintain and enhance Profit & Loss (P& L) models • Drive pricing decisions and support new business initiatives or product line extensions by understanding cost models • Effectively communicate deep analytics to senior business team leaders • Take the lead in financial planning and analysis by building complex financial models and analytical tools to measure overall financial performance • Develop and standardize financial reports and metrics to measure the efficiency of the services • Analyze new business ideas, make analytical judgments, and provide data-intensive analyses to drive meaningful change • Manage financial controllership, lead reviews of financial metrics, analyze variances and synthesize key business drivers • Leverage business systems and data mining techniques to manage deliverables from multiple stakeholders and meet challenging deadlines • Utilize accounting software such as Microsoft Dynamics Business Central 365 or SAP, as well as financial engines and tools such as PowerBI, Excel, PowerQuery, Essbase, Solver, and Think-cell.• Applicant must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role as a Sr. Financial Analyst • Proficiency in business systems is required • Knowledge of data mining techniques is highly desirable • Familiarity with the software 'About Time' is a plus • Proficiency in various accounting functions is mandatory • Experience in auditing is required • Understanding of budget processes is crucial • Expertise in capital management is desirable • Experience in financial modelling is vital • Skills in forecasting and modelling are essential • Ability to work with analytical datasets is needed • Proficiency in data analysis is required • Familiarity with dashboard metrics is beneficial • Knowledge of various financial metrics is essential.
