Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Job Specialty: Medical/Surgical Telemetry Job Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 12-hour Night Shift Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Experience: 2 years full-time Medical Telemetry experience in an acute care setting License: Current state or compact nursing license Certifications: Current NIHSS, ACLS, and BLS certification Must-Have: Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program Job Description: - Fulfill the needs of patients, families, and the community by performing various patient care functions and tasks in accordance with licensure, certification, training, and regulatory requirements. - Deliver care to patients in a competent, capable, caring, and efficient manner. - Apply knowledge of growth and development over the lifespan to provide age-appropriate care. - Demonstrate the ability to obtain and interpret information to meet the patients' needs. - Understand the range of treatments needed by patients. - Make initial assessments and determine appropriate nursing needs of assigned patients, as evidenced by appropriate documentation. - Perform initial and ongoing assessments on all assigned patients, including a review of systems, as evidenced by appropriate documentation. - Complete admission assessments within the time frame established, according to policy and procedures.
