Digital Marketing Specialist Location: Burlington, ON Reporting to: Senior Brand Marketing Manager Brands: Turtle Jack’s Muskoka Grill & Coop Wicked Chicken & Bar About the Role We’re on the hunt for a creative, driven, and digital obsessed Digital Marketing Specialist to join our team You'll help shape the online presence for two exciting brands and bring hospitality to life across digital channels. You’ll collaborate with internal teams and external partners to execute digital initiatives that drive awareness, engagement, and loyalty. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with agency partners on social strategy and monthly calendars Manage content calendar, community engagement, and reporting Work with agency partners to plan and execute Meta and Google ads Manage and optimize Pelmorex ad campaigns Launch and manage seasonal campaigns across digital channels Track KPIs and provide actionable insights to improve performance Develop and deploy email campaigns that support our calendar and drive loyalty Analyze performance metrics and provide recommendations for optimization Support database growth through lead generation and acquisition tactics Oversee content updates, optimizations, and enhancements to brand websites Collaborate with internal web and IT teams to improve UX and drive conversions Manage our third party aggregators and provide strategies for increasing sales Support restaurants with tailored local marketing plans Travel to stores for campaign launches, photoshoots, and training support, as needed Support with loyalty and guest inquiries, gift card fulfillment, and admin tasks as needed What You Bring 2 years of digital marketing experience Post-secondary degree or diploma in Marketing, Digital Media, Communications or related field Restaurant experience and knowledge of industry a bonus. Passion for hospitality, food and beverage a must Proven experience with Social platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook), Meta Ads Manager (Google Ads is a bonus) and Email marketing tools Strong communication, project management, and time-management skills Highly organized with a keen attention for details and eye for visual content A proactive, positive attitude and ability to thrive in a fast-moving environment Creative thinker who’s energized by solving problems and bringing ideas to life Collaborative and adaptable team player with high accountability and initiative Driver’s license and willingness to travel occasionally Who you are (asset) A creative thinker with content creation or graphic design skills (Canva, Adobe Suite) An up-and-coming SEO expert Passionate about food, hospitality, storytelling, and creating unforgettable, authentic guest experiences (a must) Let’s Talk Culture We act fast, think boldly, and always keep things real.
