Senior Travel Designer - Inbounds

This role requires a seasoned professional with extensive knowledge of luxury destinations, accommodations, and experiences, particularly in Southern and East Africa. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing tailor-made itineraries, maintaining strong client relationships, and ensuring seamless travel arrangements while upholding the highest standards of service and attention to detail. This position is based in either, Johannesburg or Cape Town Candidate requirements: Matric certificate with maths (minimum standard grade or above) and a tertiary qualification in Travel & Tourism or Hospitality 4-5 years of experience at a senior level in inbound travel Experience handling customer relationships and developing or promoting products and services in the luxury travel industry Computer literate, with proficiency in Microsoft Office, email, and internet usage Proven English literacy, with European language skills being an advantage Working knowledge of TourPlan and Wetu or similar booking/operating systems Strong product knowledge of Southern and East Africa, particularly Tanzania and Kenya Personal or educational travel experience in the region Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work under pressure Strong written and verbal communication skills in English Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple demands, and maintain accuracy under tight deadlines Team player with good follow-up skills and the ability to interface with various departments Professional, results-driven, and committed to delivering exceptional customer experiences Self-starter with high energy levels and a proactive approach to problem-solving
