Assistant Restaurant Manager Ambleside Lake District £32,000 per year plus £3,000£4,000 in annual tips Full-time, Permanent | Live-in available A Michelin-starred restaurant nestled in the heart of the Lake District is seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to join its award-winning team. With 4 AA Rosettes and a place in the UK's Top 100 Restaurants, this is an exceptional opportunity for someone passionate about hospitality and high-end service. About the Role You will support the management team in delivering exceptional service and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the restaurant. This is a hands-on leadership role, ideal for someone with strong operational experience and a genuine love for hospitality. Responsibilities include: Leading floor operations and being the face of the restaurant during service Maintaining and improving service standards with great attention to detail Supporting and motivating the front-of-house team Managing daily service flow and guest experience Organising staffing and schedules Pre-service menu and dietary checks Overseeing restaurant cleanliness and compliance with standards Handling cash-up and reporting duties About You At least two years experience in a supervisory or management role in a quality restaurant Strong leadership and team development skills Calm under pressure and highly organised Excellent attention to detail and communication skills A genuine passion for food, wine, and outstanding service Perks & Benefits Competitive salary plus generous tips Live-in accommodation available Career progression within a growing business Weekly set days off (Monday and Tuesday) Staff meals provided Annual staff events Discounted food and accommodation across the wider group AMRT1_UKCT
