JOB AIMS Our Financial team is looking for a Financial & Planning Analyst to join our IHC head office. You will work closely with all the General Managers to support them and be the first point of contact in terms of financial controlling, P&L analysis (revenue & costs), forecast, budget, purchasing. In addition, in coordination with the Director of Finance & Administration, you will be a financial partner for the CEO and the Managing Director. This position, which is intended to be middle or senior, reports directly to the Director of Finance & Administration and will be part of a team of 5 people of the headquarter including the Director, the Financial Controller, the Assistant Financial Controller and the Financial Assistant. The candidate will be Milan based. You will be asked to attend business trips (approximately 50%) in order to meet the general managers and be their advisor for all financial issues. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES The professional we are looking for has to deal with our Operational Management Team, General Managers, and Revenue Management team for all the properties in terms of financial issues. Moreover, he/she will support the hotels and the Director of Finance & Administration in the budget & forecast process, conducting both annual budgeting processes and ongoing financial tasks throughout the year. Following some of the main areas and activities where the Financial & Planning Analyst is demanded to work: Preparation of annual budget, monthly revised forecast Preparation of monthly Executive reports Independent monthly analysis of all hotels' monthly performance Establishment of all KPI for each hotel Ongoing detailed hotel reviews against established benchmarks in particular costs and profit margin Detailed analysis against competitive set Weekly BOB (Business On the Book) report with commentary Working with the ownership (Oaktree) on special projects Working with head of development on projections and IM Supervision of warehouse purchasing Monitoring HSM suppliers Supervision and control of capex/FFE purchasing Capex and FFE reports Monthly sales reports and analysis Special projects PERSONAL COMPETENCIES These are the personal skills, qualities, and attributes you will need to demonstrate to carry out your job effectively: Plans, organizes, and uses a systematic approach to get things done. Continues to be productive in changing circumstances. JOB REQUIREMENTS Master’s Degree in accounting, finance, business, business administration, or equivalent. Minimum of 5 years of related work experience, possibly in private equity, investment banks, hotel agencies or hospitality field in general. Financial analysis and financial modeling experience (preferred). Experience in preparing standard financial statements (preferred). Strong and outstanding Excel skills. Analytical mindset with attention to detail. Independent thinking. Italian speaking, mandatory knowledge of English language. J-18808-Ljbffr
