Front of House

Mortonhall Golf Club is currently seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our Front of House team, 25 – 30 hrs per week. Front of House Responsibilities: • Greet guests warmly, take orders, and ensure prompt and accurate delivery of food and drinks • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in dining areas, including clearing tables and resetting them for the next service • Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service flow and guest satisfaction • Handle payments, process transactions accurately, and maintain cash handling procedures. • Cashing up • Locking up and opening up Front of House Ideal Candidate: • Previous experience in the hospitality sector for our Front of House team is mandatory. • Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and outgoing personality • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure • Strong communication and teamwork skills • Willingness to support other team members and contribute to a harmonious work environment • Flexibility to work shifts including evenings, weekends and holidays • Food safety and hygiene certification is a plus Benefits: • Staff discounts • Free on-site parking
