Job Title: Section Engineer – Heavy Civils/Nuclear Project Location: Cumbria Contract Type: 12-Month Rolling Contract Rate: CIS Available Lodge Provided About the Project: We are working with a Tier 1 Contractor on a major heavy civils and nuclear project valued at £40 million. The project is in its early stages and is scheduled to run for another three years. Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced Section Engineer to join our team on a long-term contract basis. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a high-profile infrastructure project, with accommodation and CIS payment options available. Key Responsibilities: Oversee and manage a small team, ensuring smooth self-delivery of works. Coordinate and monitor construction activities, ensuring compliance with project specifications and safety standards. Provide technical guidance and support to the team on-site. Manage daily site operations, including bulk earthworks, highways, and heavy civils activities. Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation and reports. Requirements: ✅ Strong experience in bulk earthworks, highways, or heavy civils . ✅ Proven ability to lead and manage a small team . ✅ Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. ✅ Familiarity with health, safety, and environmental regulations in a construction setting.
