The Role: We are looking for a passionate and motivated Year 5 Teacher to join our team starting after the Easter holidays. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a supportive school community and make a real difference in the lives of our pupils. You will be responsible for teaching a class of 31 Year 5 pupils, working as the sole teacher for the year group. The role will involve planning, delivering engaging lessons, and ensuring each child receives the support they need to achieve their personal best. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver high-quality lessons across the Year 5 curriculum Monitor and assess pupils' progress, providing feedback and support Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment where every child feels valued Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the success of the school Contribute to the wider school community, including extracurricular activities Ensure that the welfare and safety of children are a priority at all times Key Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Experience teaching Year 5 (or upper primary) Strong classroom management skills Passionate about supporting childrens learning and development Excellent communication and teamwork skills Ability to create engaging and inspiring lessons A commitment to ensuring every child can achieve excellence Why Join Us?
