Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team at Runa Farm. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and preparation. As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently, contributing to the overall dining experience of our guests. Responsibilities Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and standards. Ensure all food safety guidelines are strictly followed, maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment. Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping, marinating, and portioning. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods. Monitor food stock levels and assist with inventory management as needed. Maintain equipment cleanliness and report any maintenance issues promptly. Help train new kitchen staff in food preparation techniques and safety protocols. Experience Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is preferred. Knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques is highly desirable. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team. A passion for cooking and willingness to learn new skills in meal preparation.
