Your new role as a Trainee Recruiter We are currently looking for ambitious and sales driven individuals to join us as a Recruiter (like a Recruitment Consultant but without new business generation). You will be joining the Technology specialism at Hays; technology is our fastest growing sector and the most profitable part of the business. As one of our specialist consultants, you would work with a range of clients hiring across the technology sector, matching them with the best talent in tech. As a Recruiter, you'll work alongside a Key Account Manager (BD Manager) to manage your own area of the Technology market. You will work within a commercial and entrepreneurial environment and have responsibility for the following: Managing job vacancies from start to finish Screening, interviewing and shortlisting candidates Matching the best candidates to the best jobs Building relationships with existing clients Gathering compliance and rights to work Advertising jobs Why Choose Hays? The office is situated centrally (just behind the Cardiff Central train station) in a modern building, three minutes’ walk to the city centre. Our Cardiff office is home to eight different teams specialising in finance, technology, marketing, human resources, procurement, education, construction and property and business support recruitment for customers across South and West Wales. The high performing team consists of 20 consultants who are all committed to providing first-class recruitment services, working hard and doing the right thing. They work closely with local communities. In recent months, they have worked on employability projects with local charities and universities, donated supplies to Cardiff foodbanks and raised money for Welsh homeless charities. Outside of the excellent results they produce, the team also do a lot outside of work, from scavenger hunts to 10k runs, from cook offs to inter-team competitions.
