Construction Manager

We are seeking an experienced Construction / Site Manager (E&I) to oversee electrical and instrumentation installation on a major industrial project in Thurrock, Essex. This role requires strong leadership and expertise in managing large-scale industrial, power generation, or oil & gas projects. Contract: 12 - 18 months Rate: £450/day Schedule: 4 x 10-hour days (Monday-Thursday) 5 hours on Friday Lodge Provided for Travelling Applicants Key Responsibilities: Lead site-based E&I construction activities , ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and project timelines. Oversee labour, subcontractors, and resource allocation to optimise efficiency. Manage HSE compliance, project controls, cost tracking, and reporting . Ensure technical compliance, inspections, pre-commissioning, and handovers . Act as the main client interface , attending meetings and providing progress updates. Requirements: 10 years’ experience in power generation, oil & gas, or heavy industrial sectors. Proven leadership and site management skills.
