Arecibo are delighted to be recruiting for a Head Chef for our client, a luxury 4 star hotel, one of the finest in the Aberdeen area. The hotel boasts over 25 bedrooms, meeting and conference facilities, a fabulous restaurant and is set within its own ancient grounds offering unrivalled views and breath-taking surroundings. THE VENUE The venue is a 4-star, historic country house hotel set in over 2,400 acres of land. THE IDEAL CANDIDATE As a Head Chef, you will have demonstrable experience in a similar environment, strong leadership qualities and management experience within the kitchen. You will have a greateye for detail and immaculate presentation standards alongside the passion to consistently exceed customer expectations. RESPONSIBILITIES Key to this role will be the ability to manage a busy kitchen and brigade with a focus on both quality and quantity. You will be responsible for managing costs in the kitchen, in particular those around food GP and working within manning parameters. Maintaining a safe, clean and tidy kitchen in line with current legislation will also be key.
