The Role: We are seeking a talented Chef Manager in the Callington, Mid-Cornwall area , who will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our diverse catering services. This role is perfect for current Head Chefs looking to further develop their careers within an award-winning fresh food catering company . You must be a real foodie with your finger on the pulse, passionate about creating high-quality meals in a modern, dynamic workplace. Typical working pattern Monday to Friday, 6.00am 2:30pm,. We believe in crafting food tailored to our audience, ensuring it reflects our values and their tastesno one-size-fits-all approach here Key Responsibilities : Managing a team of 12 staff over 4x shifts working nights and weekends working in a manufacturing environment Help prepare fresh, daily changing menus for breakfast and lunch and dinner. Maintain high standards of food quality and presentation. Help ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the catering team. Collaborate closely with the senior leadership (all chefs) to ensure innovative and diverse offerings. Uphold food safety and hygiene standards. Having a hands on approach to all tasks including customer service, operating the till system, assisting all team members in maintaining company standards in their work area. Managing Food Safety, Health & Safety and Allergens legislation, record keeping and conducting periodic audits. Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that promotes teamwork, creativity, and professional growth. Using a smart till. Ensuring all HACCP and Allergen policies are met and due diligence is completed accurately. Experience : Previous experience as a Head Chef in a fresh food environment. A minimum of 2 years experience. Strong leadership and team management skills. A passion for food trends and innovation. What's in it for you?
