Restaurant General Manager

We are currently recruiting for a Restaurant General Manager for a successful, independently owned, 130-seat fine dining restaurant & bar with private dining facilities and summer terrace, located in the heart of Bishops Stortford. The restaurant is open 6 days a week for lunch and dinner service, and serves an affluent clientele. Our client is now looking to recruit an experiencedRestaurant General Manager, to take over the day to day running of all aspects of this established venue, reporting directly to the restaurant owner on all matters. This is very much a 'hands-on', 'face of the business role', and the successful candidate for the role of Restaurant General Manager will be responsible for managing a team of approximately 20 full and part time staff. We are therefore looking to recruit a 'finished article'Restaurant General Manager, who is able to demonstrate a stable and progressive background, to their current role ofRestaurant General Manager, gained in busy fresh food led restaurants, to a minimum of One AA Rosette standard.
