General Manager - Up to £47k Bonus - Modern British Gastro Pub - Islington The Peacock in Angel is looking to bring in an ambitious and personality led General Manager to drive the business forward. With an all-day food offer focusing on premium quality, seasonality and sharing dishes - from small plates to hearty gastropub classics - while weekends are all about Saturday brunch and stunning Sunday roasts. Behind the bar you'll find the best of Londons craft beer scene, classic cocktails, small-batch gins and artisan wines. Located opposite Angel tube station, were the perfect spot to unwind, have a few pints, a quick bite, or dinner with friends and family. The Role As GM you will take full ownership of all aspects of running the venue. You will be given autonomy and run the site as if it were your own business. Being business savvy and demonstrating great commercial acumen is a must. Your team will look up to you, it's essential to train, nurture and develop your staff to maintain incredibly high standards and customer satisfaction. You have impeccable floor, bar and service experience. You will be given the opportunity to train, personally develop and progress your career as the company continues to grow.
