Job Title: Sous Chef Location: West Coast of Scotland Salary: £15.00 per hour gratuities Job Description: We are recruiting for a Sous Chef on behalf of a stunning property on the West Coast of Scotland. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a beautiful location for a seasonal contract, from May to September, with accommodation provided. Join a talented team and help deliver exceptional dining experiences to guests. Key Responsibilities: Assist the Head Chef in overseeing kitchen operations, ensuring high-quality food preparation and presentation. Support the creation of seasonal menus, working with fresh, local ingredients. Manage and train kitchen staff, ensuring smooth operations and adherence to hygiene standards. Monitor food stock levels and assist with ordering supplies. Work efficiently under pressure, maintaining high standards of service. Requirements: Proven experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar role, ideally in a hotel or restaurant. Strong culinary skills with a passion for fresh, local ingredients. Leadership abilities to manage and motivate a kitchen team. Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and deliver excellent service.
