A recent professional profile photo is to accompany your application EMPLOYMENT TYPE : Permanent SECTOR : Factory, Manufacturing BASIC SALARY : R13 500.00 - R15 000.00 START DATE : A.S.A.P / Immediate REQUIREMENTS: Valid Code 10 Drivers License with driving experience Forklift Operator Certification Valid PDP (Professional Drivers Permit) License Valid Crane License Ability to maintain and keep Drivers License, PDP License, Forklift, and Crane Licenses up to date Computer Literate Long distance trips to other provinces will be required DUTIES: Load and unload equipment and spares. Deliver goods to customers. Record all deliveries. Refuel and clean the vehicle, check the vehicle before the trip starts, and sign off on the DI sheet. Report any problems or damages to the vehicle before and after the trip. Report any road incidents. Follow all traffic laws. No speeding or reckless driving allowed. Inspect the truck, bakkie, and forklift, and record any issues. Follow accident procedures as required. Keep an activity log and log hours. Report mechanical problems, maintenance needs, and service intervals to the manager. Plan routes and follow agreed routes. Report if alternate routes are needed due to traffic issues. Ensure timely delivery of goods to clients, avoiding damage during transit and off-loading. Rigging of equipment must be done safely and in an orderly manner to prevent injuries to fellow staff or customers. Ensure correct rigging procedures are followed. Maintain a positive attitude with customers. Always wear company uniform and use required safety PPE. Load equipment at dispatch in a safe manner to prevent damage, scratches, or dents. Operate forklift, crane, and pallet jack to transport, load, and offload equipment. Deliver equipment to customers on time, as per instructions. Ensure all documentation (invoice, delivery note) is signed by the customer upon delivery. Have the security sign the documentation and verify the stock before leaving the premises. Assist with stocktaking at the end of each month on Saturdays from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM as instructed by the Dispatch Manager. Work on-site to unpack and pack equipment, and assist with positioning equipment as instructed by the Company Representative or Customer. Perform minor connections and testing before leaving the premises. Remove PVC coating from delivered equipment, clean the equipment, and ensure it is presentable, complete, and functional. Assist with organizing stock in the warehouse, help with stocktaking, and maintain general housekeeping. Undertake long-distance trips to other provinces for the installation of bakery and catering equipment. HOURS: Monday to Friday: 08:00 17:00 and operations hours as required Last Saturday of every month: 07:00 17:00 to assist with stock take
