Rajesh : Director Engineering, 15 yrs Tech exp, Ex Hike, Foodpanda Must have technical skills : - Strong and demonstrable knowledge of Android Java, Kotlin - Common design patterns - MVC, MVVM, MVP - Very Strong in Data Structures and Algorithms - Multi-threaded programming & familiarity with android Jetpack - Usage of frameworks - Volley/Retrofit, Picasso/Glide, Data Binding. - Usage of Android support libraries, Firebase, Any Push Notification frameworks. - Java Design Patterns - Factory, Observer, Singleton, Adapter & Builder Pattern. - Android Concepts - Themes, Navigation Drawer, TabLayouts etc. Good to have : - Understanding of Scrum and Agile Methodologies. - Usage of jenkins and pipelines w.t mobile platforms. - Working with Firebase SDK namely Crashlytics, Remote Config, Analytics, CleverTap. - Working independently and closely with the Product teams. Desired Candidate Profile : - 6 months to 2 years of experience in developing - Ethical, hardworking, and 'passionate about startups' mindset - Is a self-starter, and loves working in a fast paced environment. - Excellent structured problem-solving ability You Must : - Be proficient in Java and Kotlin - Have atleast 6 Months of experience in Android Studio - Understand common design patterns like MVC, MVVM, and MVP - Excel in data structures and algorithms You Can : - Understand RESTful APIs and integrate them into Android applications. - Work independently and closely with various stakeholders You Want to : - Dive deep into Android development and expand your expertise - Help us in building the best Android app for Travel Agents - Work in a fast-paced environment This role is not ideal for someone who is : - Has not worked on 2-3 android applications - Lacks basic proficiency in Android development using Java and Kotlin - Has not created any android project from scratch - Not comfortable with long working hours i. - 10-12 hours daily - Not comfortable working 5 days a week from office in Delhi Additional Details : Timings - 9.30 am till work gets over. You are considering joining a startup. Building anything of value takes time. The majority of our exits happen within the first 2 months of people joining because new joiners are not able to adjust to the high pace environment.
