Job Description
A prestigious destination for luxury, fine dining, and world-class wines, is seeking an exceptional Restaurant Manager to lead our renowned dining experience. This role is perfect for a passionate and detail-driven hospitality professional who thrives in refined, high-end environments and is dedicated to delivering seamless service, operational excellence, and unforgettable guest experiences. RESPONSIBILITIES: Coordinate daily operations of the full portfolio Deliver superior service and maximize guest satisfaction Engage efficiently and accurately to guests' needs and complaints Work alongside Sommelier compiling the wine & beverage list and recommending wine to guests. Ensure wine lists in rooms are updated. Staff recruitment & effective management (including rosters overtime). Responsible for stock purchasing, managing stock budget, and flow and working according to the budget Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations. CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS: Grade 12, preferably a tertiary qualification in Food Services Management/Hospitality 4-5 years of previous Restaurant Manager experience in 5 or luxury establishments Wine certification course or similar experience alignment Previous Gourmet Guide and Eat Out aligned fine dining experience preferential Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal Comfortable in dealing with very distinguished clientele Excellent food and wine knowledge Excellent ability to pay attention to detail High stress tolerance and ability to work under pressure Excellent planning and organizing skills Reliable, flexible, adaptable & self-disciplined ðLocation: Western Cape, Stellenbosch Click on the IMAGE for more information and to submit an application online
