Lodge Manager

Key Responsibilities: Oversee daily lodge operations , ensuring all departments run efficiently. Lead, train, and motivate staff to deliver exceptional guest experiences . Ensure all guest accommodations, public areas, and facilities are maintained to 5-star standards . Manage guest relations, handling requests, special arrangements, and any concerns professionally. Monitor and manage financial performance , including budgeting, cost control, and revenue optimization. Work closely with the Executive Chef and Food & Beverage team to maintain outstanding dining experiences. Ensure all lodge activities, safaris, and excursions are well-coordinated and exceed guest expectations. Maintain strong relationships with conservation teams, local communities, and suppliers. Uphold health, safety, and sustainability standards in all lodge operations. Requirements: Proven experience as a Lodge Manager in a 5-star game lodge . Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent knowledge of luxury lodge operations, guest services, and hospitality standards . Ability to thrive in a remote, wildlife-focused environment . Financial acumen with experience in budgeting, reporting, and cost control. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure. A passion for wildlife, conservation, and authentic safari experiences. Zulu language skills would be an advantage but are not required.
