Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Labor and Delivery Discipline: RN Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours Employment Type: Travel Data Collection : Unit Information : L&D (Labor & Delivery) Location: Address: 500 West Medical Center Blvd Floor: 3 Building: Central Tower General Information Tell us about the unit (s) : Number of Beds – 15 labor beds, 3 OR suites, 4 Triage beds, 3 Preop/PACU beds Number of Staff – 55 Type of staff : Secretaries, ANMs, relief charge, ORTs Day Shift – 30 Night Shift - 25 Patient Ratios – 2:1, 3 or 4:1 APU and Triage (USE AWHONN GUIDELINES) Type of equipment – EFM with Toco , US, pulse ox, BP cables, NOVI EMR - Meditech Typical hiring profile Skill Set Most recruited for : ( Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters) Must have : candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. NRP BLS ACLS IEFM Preferred or nice to have : candidates with these skills will be considered first. RNC-OB C-EFM List typical procedures performed on unit(s): External fetal monitoring C- sections ( circulation and recovery) Vaginal Delivery (circulation and recovery) Cerclage placement and removal IUPC FSE Dress Code : Include requirements, but most of all not acceptable attire.
