Job Description
Duties: Responsible for managing the full operations, service, logistics and activities Ensure that guests receive exceptional levels of personalised service Assist the HOD's in ensuring that guest spaces and facilities are impeccably maintained and fully functional. Ensure that policies, processes and standards directly affecting the guests reflects their safety, security and preferences. Develop, implement and monitor systems and methods that capture and communicate guest preferences Ensure that brand standards are upheld, ensuring a streamlined and effective structure in line with hospitality trends. Effective departmental meetings take place, accurate minutes are taken and follow ups completed. Assist in achieving the best procurement agreements for the property To keep the property innovative in its guest experience and up to date with both competitor offerings and current trends in the hospitality industry. Be readily available to deal with all guest queries and complaints. Responding to complaints to be dealt with in a pleasant, constructive manner always, using the feedback as a learning experience and platform for constructive discussion. Requirements: Grade 12 A tertiary qualification in Hospitality or Hotel Management Minimum of 3-5 years Assistant Hotel Management or Senior Duty Management experience within a 4/5 Hotel Excellent Food & Beverage experience and knowledge. Strong stock control skills Advanced computer skills Good with motivating staff. Attention to detail. Good with Admin and Cost Management. Valid driver's licence would be an advantage
