This role provides essential support the business whilst ensuring delivery of our L&D strategy. Working with the wider L&D team to ensure our wonderful people have access to ‘best in class' professional and personal development at every stage of their career with Clermont Hotel Group. What you'll be doing: You'll oversee all aspects of The Academy (our bespoke training venue) including course scheduling, coordinating facilitators and providing support to the L&D Advisor as required. Support Line Managers to ensure that all new employees receive structured onboarding via The Academy within the required timeframes Monitor progress of 30, 60 and 90-day review forms and ensure that all new hires are signed off within the relevant time frame Work with internal stakeholders to observe employee performance, monitor quality assurance program scores and guest feedback to identify and address both employee and hotel development needs Provide feedback and coaching as required based on identified development needs Collaborate with Head of Talent & Organistional Development and subject matter experts to identify target audience's training needs Create engaging learning activities and compelling course content for both in person and online use Create bespoke online content and curated learning collections Delivery of workshops, both in person and virtual Manage the Apprenticeship Academy including applications, reviews, tracking and progress updates Coordinate quarterly apprentice networking events and graduation celebrations Maintain clear communication channels with external Apprenticeship Partners Develop and maintain a network of Buddy trainers across operational departments Provide efficient, effective and customer focused service (in person or via the Academy inbox) which supports all aspects of training, learning and development You will be required to support with additional L&D and wider HR initiatives and administrative duties from time to time, as needed. What we look for: Sound knowledge of instructional design theories, practice and methods Ability to facilitate group training as well as confidently present information in one-to-one and small group situations Ability to build and sustain relationships with key stakeholders in order to effectively partner with them and understand their needs Ability to negotiate and influence both internal teams at all levels of the business as well as external partners A growth mindset and the desire to develop and motivate self & others Exceptional communication skills, including spoken and written English Strong command of software applications, especially Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Experience in eLearning authoring software (Articulate would be a bonus) Previous experience of an LMS platform Ability to work cohesively as part of a team as well as self-motivate Ability to work on multiple priorities and meet deadlines Experience & Qualifications: Previous experience in a similar role (Hospitality experience is a must, Hotel experience is preferable) Previous experience of conducting training needs analysis and training evaluation Previous experience in multi-site operations (desirable) Learning & Development or HR qualification; CIPD or equivalent (desirable) What's in it for you?
