From a big platter of bacon sandwiches to a quick Mediterranean flatbread or our mouth-watering rotisserie chicken, you’ll find plenty of tasty choice on the Sports Café menu. We’re open from breakfast through to midnight and this is a busy, popular venue with the big games being streamed live onto our screens. BAR & WAITING TEAM MEMBER | £11.60 per hour plus tips All colleagues working in the following restaurants: Rajinda Pradesh, Huck's American Bar and Grill, The Pancake House, Sports Café, The Lakeside Inn, Forester’s Inn and Vitalé Café Bar will benefit from the discretionary service charge we add to bills. The majority of our guests are happy to reward our colleagues for their excellent service. Your day-to-day duties will include welcoming and seating guests, taking orders, bar service, serving food and drinks, handling payments and maintaining a clean working environment. Some roles may require you to be over the age of 18, these will be discussed at interview. Please note that to apply for a role with us, you must be able to reliably commute to Center Parcs Sherwood Forest (NG22 9DN), as it is not easily accessible by public transport. ABOUT YOU Any experience of working in a customer-facing role is ideal but not essential as we will provide all the training you need, and you will be surrounded by a supportive team. If you can bring the following qualities and skills, then we’d love to hear from you: Good communication skills - with a patient and friendly nature Passion to provide great customer service Enjoy working as part of a team HOURS OF WORK Working straight shifts, you will be contracted to work either 100 or 64 hours per 4-week period on a flexible basis. This means that your days and hours of work could vary each week, but you will always receive at least your contracted hours each period. As our village is open 365 days of the year, your working hours will include public / bank holidays and during Christmas and / or New Year on a rota basis.
