Salary - £26308.80 per annum We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Groups and Reservations Coordinator to join our Reservations team. In this role, you will manage both group bookings and individual reservations, ensuring a seamless and exceptional experience for our guests. You will collaborate closely with internal departments to coordinate group events and handle the full cycle of reservations—from inquiry through confirmation. The ideal candidate will have strong organisational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service. The Reservations Agent is responsible for managing all aspects of guest reservations and inquiries. This role involves providing exceptional customer service, ensuring accurate booking information, and facilitating a seamless reservation experience from start to finish. The successful candidate will interact with guests via phone, email, and online platforms, handling booking requests, modifications, and cancellations efficiently and professionally. Key Responsibilities : Respond to guest inquiries and handle reservations via multiple communication channels (phone, email, online platforms) Process booking confirmations, modifications, and cancellations accurately Maintain up-to-date records in the reservations system Provide clear information on rates, availability, promotions, and hotel services Address guest issues promptly, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and effective communication Follow up on reservations to confirm guest needs and special requests Qualifications: Excellent communication and customer service skills Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry Proficiency with reservation systems and basic computer applications Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Previous experience in hospitality or a similar customer-facing role is preferred Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed This role is integral to delivering a positive guest experience and ensuring the smooth operation of our reservations department.
